Dear AMASICON Delegates
The Organizing Committee of AMASICON 2025 invites abstracts for Travel Bursary awards in the following categories
• Best Paper: AMASI Medal & Citation to the best paper + Rs 15,000 for all top Ten best paper (Prime time podium presentation) [SUBMISSION CLOSED]
• Best Video: AMASI Palanivelu Medal & Citation to the best video + Rs 15,000 for all top Ten best Video (Prime time podium presentation) [SUBMISSION CLOSED]
• Faculty Abstract: Special session of papers / videos / articles by faculty in podium sessions. [ SUBMISSION CONTINUING ]
• Young Scholar Award: Young Scholar Award: AMASI Medal & Citation to the best presented young scholar + Rs 15,000 award for top Ten young scholars- Surgery/Gynae PG Students and MAS fellows are only eligible below age of 40 yrs. (Prime time podium presentation) [SUBMISSION CLOSED]
• Best Poster award: AMASI Medal & Citation to the best poster + Rs 15,000 for all top Ten best Posters (Prime time podium presentation) [SUBMISSION CLOSED]
We also invite during AMASICON 2025 presentations for the following
• Free Video [ SUBMISSION CONTINUING ]
• Free Paper [ SUBMISSION CONTINUING ]
• Free Poster (E-posters) [ SUBMISSION CONTINUING ]
Rules and regulations:
• Abstracts for Free Video / Free Paper / Free Poster will be accepted till 30th June, 2025
• Acceptance and Awards declaration by 30th June 2025
• All (Oral, Video, Posters, young scholar) Abstracts have to be submitted online through the website only.
• The exact category in which accepted for presentation will be informed by 30th June 2025
• All Bursary Awards are given only to AMASI Members
• Presenting Author has to be an AMASI Member. PG students from Surgery and Gynae can become associate AMASI member.
• All accepted abstract for presentation will need conference registration during presentation by 30th June 2025. If registration is not found their names can be deleted from award papers.
• All accepted abstract for presentation will need conference registration during presentation
• One presenting author can submit a maximum of two papers.
Abstract submission Guidelines
• All abstracts have to be submitted only in the website www.amasicon2025.com
• Abstracts can be submitted for the following categories for which should be clearly selected / mentioned. Upper GI, Bariatric, Lower GI, Hepatobilliary, Abdominal Wall including Hernia, Solid Organs, Emerging technology & General Laparoscopy.
• Structured abstract (Introduction, Materials methods, Result & conclusion) of maximum 450 words (Including Title) should be submitted for both best paper & young scholar awards, posters, free papers along with the title page (Name of authors, Institution & contact email & phone no). Upload a PDF file / word file / Copy paste the abstract in the space provided in website for abstract
• Best Video & Free Video should be uploaded on the website with or without voice (Maximum size – 500MB) in JPEG / MP4 format. Author name and affiliation should be mentioned separately as per the directions on the website.
• All award papers/posters/videos & young scholars have to be physically presented offline on the assigned podium. No voice recorded paper or video will be marked or awarded during the conference.
• As all award selection will be in the blinded format, the abstract submitter should in no way mention his/her name, institute or place of work, guide name in the text (abstract 450words) or in the video. If any such lead is found in the abstracts or video, the same will not be selected for award papers.
• Whole scientific program will be in AMASICON 2025 website by 30th June 2025.
Please ensure that you submit the final edited version of your video for the video submission.
